In S2 of ALoK, it was revealed that the reason the avatar could bend the 4 elements is because Raava, holding the blessings of the 4 lion turtles, is within them. When the light spirit was annihilated and was again reborn inside of Vaatu, how was Korra still able to bend the 4 elements without the lion turtles blessing Raava with the bending abilities?

I know how it works, the earth, using earth bending gets heated to the point it’s lava. A natural earth bending element.
But I’m doing my second rewatch and can’t help but notice when roku explains the avatar state to him, yangchen uses it and bends air so much so it caused the atmosphere to move as well, Kyoshi move 2 Large statues made of earth, Kuruk makes a tsunami like wave, but szeto bends the lava out of 4 volcanos. I was assuming that each avatar was representing their element. Yangchen/Air, Kyoshi/Earth, Kuruk/Water, and Szeto/fire.
So was that just scared since the science deems it an earth bender ability or was it just supposed to reference the red.
The removal of Sokka's sexism has generated concerns among fans about likely future changes that will be made to the characters and the story. A problem I forsee coming up is Sokka getting stoned out of his mind on cactus juice in the episode, The Desert.
Sokka is clearly under the influence of a hallucinogenic substance which might raise concerns of certain factions that might see this episode as an endorsement of drug abuse as Sokka's predicament is played for humor.
This not a death battle or anything like that. Just looking at the children & grandchildren of Toph and Aang with their specific skill sets, which passed off better.
I personally think it’s the beifongs. Lin, and Su are saucy asl with their fighting. When they fought each other and fought together, immaculate. I also really liked Wei and Wing a lot. They teaming and helping Su in defensive attacks were honestly beautiful. Why wasn’t their twins like that in ATLA?. They Demon Twins(Korras Cousins) even they was fighting together and using their skills together and it was dope honestly.
Aangs family are amazing as well, it’s not much on Ikki, but between Jinora and his spirit powers, tenzin and his mastery in both offense and defense attacks(more then likely directly from aang himself), and my personal favorite Meelo. As far as his powers, it’s a dupe of Aang’s . Created fartbending, and took out 5 equalist in one “stance”(that’s not the word I’m looking for but it’ll do). And as far as his personality it’s as shown, a child.
But yea I just vibe with the beifongs a little more and their skill set. Nothing is supposed to be degrading or shady about this I just wanted to know any personal opinions. Who do you think genes passed off better.
*Sigh* I found myself in another argument over Bending and the Periodic Table of Elements. I get so tired and frustrated with people tying these 2 things together. "Earthbenders bend Calcium." No, they don't. It's too small and not even something Benders could sense. During Wan's Era they wouldn't even know what Calcium is. Or Carbon. I don't understand why fans want to go so small that we are talking about the chemical structures of these Elements.
Why not understand that this is a Kid's Show (or a Show aimed at Kids but Adults can enjoy) and let things stay simple? The Show has it's own rules. Like, based on Science; you couldn't stand on a Cloud. In Avatar you can. In Avatar, you can have your face removed but still be fine despite not even having a mouth or nose to breath from. Tying Bending to the Periodic Table breaks immersion. Breaks the Fantasy of the Show.
The Show is about the Mystical Nature of these Elements. Like, how Water can Heal or with Air you can disconnect yourself from your "earthly tether"; allowing you to Fly. They just wouldn't be possible if you were manipulating chemical compounds.
Just let Fantasy be Fantasy is what I am saying.

Personally I am not a fan of sue and don’t really like her character, largely due to her irresponsible and selfish nature, and her blatant hypocrisy

Blindness should not condemn Toph to illiteracy. The concept of a writing system that's tactile rather than visual should not be that great of a leap. Louis Braille solved that problem in our world in 1824.
Consider that the Avatar world has been at war for over a century. Nothing has driven the advance of technology, particularly medical technology, like war. There have likely been tens if not hundreds of thousands of injuries that left veterans with partial to total vision loss. I would think that there are people who have devised numerous systems of printing text that's legible to the visually impaired.

I know I have made posts on this scene a few time before but this will probably be the last one.
When they all though Korra had arrived, it seemed off to me that everyone expected her to be all better. Most of them had not heard from Korra in years and both Asami and Tenzin knew she was struggling.
So this begs the question, why were they all so happy instead of concerned when they thought that Korra was arriving?
Imagine there would be an avatar game where you could create your own character for each element.
After you did that, you can choose between many game modes like
Earth vs Fire Or Air vs fire on the night of sozins comet
Or just a game mode where there are 4 teams and in every team are 10 people of each element. They have to five against each other and everyone only gets 1 live no respawning.
So you can level up per win and unlock new abilities per higher level, like spinning back fire kick at level 20 or lava bending at level 200.
There could be a tournament every month and the winner of the tournament is gonna get like a golden name or something, in game for:
The best Bender ever.
Idk why they aren’t creating a game like that, they would make so much money out of it.
What is your opinion?
